    Stealth Setup Before Engagement
    • Crouch with C (PC), X (Xbox), or Square (PlayStation) before entering guarded areas.
    • Use Observe and Eagle Vision to tag patrol routes and isolate targets before moving in.
    • Use ranged tools to remove light sources, then assassinate from cover with F (PC), RB (Xbox), or R1 (PlayStation).
    Defend, Dodge, Then Punish
    • Parry normal attacks with LB (Xbox) or L1 (PlayStation), and sidestep when you see unblockable red attacks.
    • Use B (Xbox) or Circle (PlayStation) to dodge through pressure and create a punish window.
    • Counter with quick strikes using LMB (PC), RB (Xbox), or R1 (PlayStation) after the enemy whiffs.
    Pick the Right Protagonist for the Job
    • Use Naoe when you need stealth, infiltration, and quick elimination routes.
    • Use Yasuke for direct combat, stronger frontline pressure, and open fights.
    • Swap approach based on enemy density and terrain before committing to an objective.
    Combat Rhythm and Posture Attacks
    • Open with light attacks using LMB (PC), RB (Xbox), or R1 (PlayStation), then mix in heavy attacks with Shift + LMB (PC), RT (Xbox), or R2 (PlayStation).
    • Use parry/deflect on Q (PC), LB (Xbox), or L1 (PlayStation), then punish immediately when enemies enter a vulnerable state.
    • When pressure builds, dodge with Alt (PC), B (Xbox), or Circle (PlayStation) instead of forcing trades.
    Tools, Ranged, and Ability Shortcuts
    • Hold RMB HOLD (PC), LT HOLD (Xbox), or L2 HOLD (PlayStation) to aim and access ranged tools.
    • Use tool shortcuts with LT HOLD + D-Pad Up , LT HOLD + D-Pad Right , LT HOLD + D-Pad Down , and LT HOLD + D-Pad Left on Xbox (same pattern on PlayStation with L2 HOLD ).
    • Trigger ally abilities with 5 / 6 (PC), LT HOLD + Y or LT HOLD + A (Xbox), and L2 HOLD + Triangle or L2 HOLD + Cross (PlayStation).
    Traversal, Prone, and Mount Flow
    • Use Space (PC), A (Xbox), or Cross (PlayStation) for parkour, then drop quickly with CTRL (PC), B (Xbox), or Circle (PlayStation).
    • Go low by crouching with C / X / Square , then hold the same input ( C HOLD , X HOLD , Square HOLD ) to enter prone when stealth routes are tight.
    • Call your mount with X HOLD (PC), D-Pad Down HOLD (Xbox), or D-Pad Down HOLD (PlayStation), then sprint or gallop with Shift (PC) or LS (console).
    Navigation Shortcuts for Returning Players
    • Open World/Map quickly with M (PC), View (Xbox), or Touchpad (PlayStation).
    • Open inventory with I (PC), Menu (Xbox), or Options (PlayStation), then hold the same button to jump to objectives.
    • Use objective helpers with Tab (PC), D-Pad Left (Xbox), or D-Pad Left (PlayStation), and hold ( Tab HOLD / D-Pad Left HOLD ) to activate Pathfinder.
