    Prep Like A Witcher Again
    • Hold RMB HOLD on PC or the Witcher Senses button on controller whenever a quest leaves you tracks, scent trails, or red-highlighted clues to inspect.
    • Draw steel with 1 for humans and silver with 2 for monsters, then treat Q as your quick reset for signs instead of digging through every panel.
    • Keep R and F stocked with the consumables you actually use so healing and utility stay one tap away when a contract goes bad.
    Recover Between Fights Without Stalling Out
    • Meditate between skirmishes when the road is clear so you top off supplies and stop limping into the next encounter unprepared.
    • Use the quick-access wheel to swap consumables instead of opening the full inventory every time, especially before monster nests, caves, and contracts.
    • If you have been away for a while, start with a short contract or side path first so your dodge, parry, and sign timing comes back before a major story fight.
